A vegan recipe that will provide protein and other nutrients

Leading a healthy life is one of the most rewarding experiences for a human. Taking care of your body is a must to live a long and healthy life. This is achieved by blending many factors that add up to providing an optimal state of the body and mind. 

This, of course, includes eating properly. Many times, vegans are accused of not "eating well" because their diet does not include a proper amount of protein, which is found in meat. The truth is that meat is not the only source of protein.  

Here’s a recipe for a delicious dessert that is packed with proteins and easy to make. So go grab your apron and hat and let's do this!

What You Will Need

We will go with a yummy vegan chocolate pie. It's a chocolate peanut tofu butter pie. Here's what you will need: 

  • 12 oz of tofu
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 premade pie crust
  • 2 tablespoons soy milk


Microwave the chocolate chips to melt them. Make sure to stir them occasionally to keep them from burning.  

Once the chocolate is properly melted, add in the tofu, the peanut butter, and the soy milk until it has a creamy texture. You may want to add more soy milk, if necessary. 

Pour this mixture into a premade crust and place in the refrigerator. 

You see, it is a heat, blend, pour, and enjoy kind of recipe. Of course, there are fancier tofu cakes to make but this one is delicious and you can get it made in 5 minutes. In addition, you use ingredients you already have at home.  

Prepare this chocolate pie whenever you want to enjoy a quick dessert or for a casual gathering at any time.
